中国科大在设计单位点催化剂用于CO2电还原方面取得重要进展

近日,中国科学技术大学微尺度物质科学国家研究中心曾杰教授团队在单原子催化二氧化碳电还原制备乙烯和一氧化碳方面取得重要进展。相关成果分别以“Stabilizing copper sites in coordination polymers toward efficient electrochemical C-C coupling”(Nature Communications 2023, 14, 474)和“Selective CO2 electrolysis to CO using isolated antimony alloyed copper”(Nature Communications 2023, 14, 340)为题发表在《自然·通讯》上

Catalyst Aggregation Matters for Immobilized Molecular CO2RR Electrocatalysts

Here, we detail how the catalytic behavior of immobilized molecular electrocatalysts for the CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) can be impacted by catalyst aggregation. Operando Raman spectroscopy was used to study the CO2RR mediated by a layer of cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc) immobilized on the cathode of an electrochemical flow reactor. We demonstrate that during electrolysis, the oxidation state of CoPc in the catalyst layer is dependent upon the degree of catalyst aggregation.
